Plant Care Tips

Begonia Care Tips:

  1. Post-Arrival Care:
If the leaves of your Begonia are slightly rotting, cut off the damaged parts and continue to plant. If the plant looks limp, try soaking it in water until it regains firmness.

  2. Light:
Begonias prefer bright, indirect light. Avoid placing them in direct sunlight, as it may scorch their leaves.

  3. Watering:
Keep the soil slightly moist, but avoid overwatering, as excess water can lead to mold and rot. Ensure the soil has good drainage.

  4. Humidity:
Begonias thrive in humid environments. To increase humidity, consider placing the plant in a terrarium or using a humidifier to boost the surrounding moisture. Humidity is crucial for their growth, especially in dry winter conditions.

  5. Temperature:
Begonias prefer a temperature range between 65°F and 75°F (18°C - 24°C). Avoid placing them in areas with temperature fluctuations, such as under air conditioning or near heat sources.

Moss Care Tips:

  1. Post-Arrival Care:
If the moss looks dry upon arrival, it may have entered dormancy due to a lack of water during transport. Don’t worry, just mist it gently, and the moss will revive. If you have any issues, feel free to contact us.

  2. Light:
Moss prefers bright, indirect light. Avoid exposing it to direct sunlight, as it may cause the moss to dry out. The best environment for moss is indirect light.

  3. Watering:
Moss likes moisture but is sensitive to waterlogging. Use a spray bottle to mist it lightly, keeping the humidity between 70-80%. Avoid over-watering, as moss does not require frequent watering like regular plants.

  4. Temperature:
Moss prefers cooler environments, with an ideal temperature range between 59°F and 77°F (15°C - 25°C). Avoid hot environments to prevent moss from drying out.

Important Notes:

  1. Different types of Begonias and Mosses have varying humidity needs. For example, Begonias native to tropical rainforests typically require higher humidity, which is crucial for their healthy growth. If you choose these types of Begonias, ensure they have adequate humidity to thrive.
