Aleuritopteris chrysophylla is a small to medium-sized fern from the Pteridaceae family and the Aleuritopteris genus, making it a rare plant within the Aleuritopteris species. The fronds are pinnately divided and covered with golden-yellow powder on the underside, creating a distinctive and beautiful appearance. The leaves typically grow to 10-15 cm, making this fern ideal for rainforest terrariums, potted plants, or placing in offices and on balconies.
This species is exceptionally drought-tolerant, sun-resistant, and frost-hardy. It has a high survival rate after transplantation, making it perfect for beginners. While it thrives in well-draining, loose soil, it does require high humidity during the initial rooting phase. Once established, it becomes very resilient and easy to maintain, making it an excellent choice for low-maintenance indoor or outdoor gardening.
