Bulbophyllum annandalei is a miniature orchid species native to the montane forests of peninsular Thailand and Malaysia, typically found at elevations around 1,000 meters. This epiphytic orchid is characterized by its conical pseudobulbs and a single, thick, blunt leaf. It produces small, yellowish flowers with red and brown markings, which emit a strong, somewhat unpleasant fragrance.
