Bulbophyllum blepharistes is a mini-miniature, bifoliate epiphytic orchid species found in Assam, Thailand, Myanmar, Laos, Vietnam, and Malaysia. It inhabits evergreen, semi-deciduous, and deciduous dry lowland forests and savanna-like woodlands at elevations ranging from sea level to 1,700 meters. The plant features flattened, ovate pseudobulbs spaced approximately 2 cm apart on a woody rhizome, each bearing two apical, bilobed, elliptical leaves. It blooms in summer and fall, producing yellow flowers approximately 1 cm wide and 3 cm long on a basal, slender inflorescence.
