Bulbophyllum kwangtungense is an epiphytic orchid species native to southern China, including provinces such as Fujian, Guangdong, Guangxi, Hubei, Hunan, Jiangxi, Yunnan, and Zhejiang. It thrives in humid, shaded environments at elevations ranging from 800 to 1200 meters above sea level.

Features:

• Growth Habit: Small epiphyte with a creeping rhizome and pseudobulbs spaced approximately 1.5–2 cm apart.

• Leaves: Each pseudobulb carries a single, linear to lanceolate leaf, approximately 0.5–1.5 cm long.

• Flowers: Typically produces 4–7 white flowers with a mild fragrance. The dorsal and lateral sepals are linear-lanceolate, while the petals are lanceolate with acuminate tips.

• Blooming Season: Flowers during the warmer months, particularly from May to July.

Care Tips:

• Light: Prefers bright, indirect light. Avoid direct sunlight to prevent leaf burn.

• Temperature: Thrives in warm conditions with daytime temperatures between 20°C and 27°C (68°F to 80°F). Nighttime temperatures should not drop below 15°C (59°F).

• Humidity: Requires high humidity levels, ideally between 60% and 90%.

• Watering: Keep the growing medium consistently moist but not waterlogged. Watering frequency may vary based on environmental conditions.
