This orchid is very small, making it perfect for terrariums where space and humidity can be carefully controlled.

Features:

  • Flowers: The orchid produces a single, resupinate flower that opens each morning and closes each night, lasting about 10 days. The flower is yellow with red striping, resembling a leopard's spots.

  • Growth Habit: It features ovoid to tetragonal pseudobulbs spaced up to 4 cm apart, each supporting a single, leathery, ovate to narrowly oblong leaf. The plant's inflorescence is erect, 4 to 9 cm long, emerging basally and slightly exceeding the length of the leaf.
