Care Tips:
-
Light: Provide bright, indirect light. East-facing windows or shaded areas with filtered sunlight are ideal.
-
Temperature: Maintain temperatures between 70°F (21°C) and 85°F (29°C) during the day, with nighttime temperatures slightly cooler.
-
Humidity: High humidity levels, ranging from 60% to 80%, are essential, making it ideal for terrariums.
-
Watering: Water the plant regularly, ensuring the growing medium remains moist but not waterlogged. Allow the top layer of the medium to dry slightly between waterings.
-
Mounting: Due to its epiphytic nature, mounting the plant on a piece of cork bark or in a shallow basket with sphagnum moss can mimic its natural habitat and promote healthy growth.
-
Fertilization: Apply a balanced orchid fertilizer diluted to one-quarter strength every 2–3 weeks during the growing season.
-
Air Circulation: Ensure good air circulation around the plant to prevent fungal and bacterial infections.
