Cattleya trianae coerulea 'Blue Moon'

Cattleya trianae var. coerulea 'Blue Moon' is one of the finest blue-toned clones of Colombia's national orchid, treasured for its cool, crystalline coloration and exceptional floral quality. The large, intensely fragrant flowers measure approximately 15–20 cm (6–8 in) across, featuring broad, well-rounded petals in soft silvery lavender to pale blue-lilac, complemented by a richly colored lavender-blue lip with a bright golden-yellow throat. The blooms possess excellent substance, sparkling texture, and remarkable longevity, often remaining fresh for six weeks or more during the winter flowering season. Its rare coerulea coloration, elegant form, and outstanding flower quality have made 'Blue Moon' one of the most sought-after clones among collectors of blue Cattleyas.
