Dendrobium chrysanthum is a striking orchid species native to the western Himalayas, including regions of India, Nepal, Bhutan, Myanmar, Thailand, Laos, Vietnam, and parts of China (Yunnan, Guizhou, Guangxi, and Tibet). This species thrives in humid, mossy forests and valleys at elevations ranging from 700 to 2,500 meters above sea level, typically growing on tree trunks or wet rocks.
