Care Tips:
-
Light: Bright, indirect light; avoid strong midday sun. A location near a window with diffused light or filtered shade works well.
-
Water: Keep moist but ensure good drainage / airflow. Avoid soggy substrate. Let roots dry lightly between waterings.
-
Humidity: High humidity (60-80%) is likely beneficial, given its native forest habitat.
-
Temperature: Intermediate conditions; nights somewhat cooler than days. Avoid extreme cold or heat.
-
Mounting / Potting: Best grown epiphytically or mounted on bark, wood slab, or similar, so that roots are exposed to air and moisture. Alternatively use a very coarse, well-draining potting mix.
-
Rest / flowering period: Try to mimic natural cycle: if there’s a drier / cooler season in its natural habitat, easing water and temperature some during that time may help induce blooms.
