It develops slender, twining stems with attractive, fleshy leaves and can form clusters of waxy, star-shaped flowers when mature. The plant is well suited to growing on a trellis or allowing its vines to trail naturally, making it an interesting choice for both Hoya collectors and indoor plant enthusiasts.

Care Tips:

• Light: Provide bright, indirect light or filtered sunlight. Gentle morning or late-afternoon sun is beneficial, while strong midday sunlight should be filtered to reduce the risk of leaf scorch. Hoyas generally flower better with sufficient bright light.
• Watering: Allow the growing medium to become mostly dry before watering again. Water thoroughly and allow excess water to drain completely. Avoid constantly wet roots.
• Growing Medium: Use a chunky, airy, fast-draining mix such as orchid bark, perlite, and organic potting material. Good oxygen around the roots is important.
• Humidity: Moderate humidity is sufficient, although higher humidity during active growth can be beneficial. Good airflow is important in humid conditions.
• Temperature: Keep warm, ideally around 18–27°C (65–80°F). Protect the plant from temperatures below approximately 13°C (55°F).
• Fertilizing: Feed lightly with a diluted balanced fertilizer during active growth. Reduce feeding when growth slows.
