Hoya limoniaca

Hoya limoniaca is an attractive climbing Hoya known for its thick, glossy foliage and fragrant flowers with a fresh lemon-like scent.

Care Tips:

• Light: Provide bright, indirect light. Gentle morning or evening sunlight is beneficial, while strong midday sun should be filtered to prevent leaf scorch.
• Temperature: Keep warm, ideally around 20–30°C (68–86°F). Avoid prolonged exposure to temperatures below 15°C (59°F).
• Humidity: Moderate to high humidity around 60–75% is beneficial, with good air circulation to keep the foliage healthy.
• Watering: Water thoroughly, then allow the growing medium to partially dry before watering again. Avoid keeping the roots constantly wet, as Hoyas are susceptible to root problems in waterlogged conditions.
• Growing Medium: Use a loose, airy, fast-draining mix such as bark, perlite, and a small amount of organic material.
• Fertilizing: Feed lightly during active growth with a diluted balanced fertilizer. Reduce feeding during cooler, slower-growth periods.
• Support: Provide a trellis, hoop, or other support for the climbing stems, or allow the vines to trail from a hanging container.
• Flowering: Once flower buds or peduncles develop, avoid moving the plant or making sudden changes to its growing conditions, as this can cause bud drop. Leave old peduncles intact for future flowering.
