Hoya paradisea IM04 is native to the lowland rainforests of Papua New Guinea and the Central Papua province of Indonesia. It is a climbing or trailing plant that naturally thrives in lowland primary riverine forests and adapts well to hanging baskets or supports as a houseplant. The plant produces long, slender vines with green, lance-shaped leaves. Its fragrant flowers are white with a yellow corona and a reddish tint at the base of the petals, sometimes displaying a soft pink hue.
