Polystichum yaanense is a miniature fern species native to the Bifeng Gorge area in Ya'an, Sichuan Province, China. Described in 2012 by Zhang and Li, this fern thrives in its native acidic soil and is perfect for cultivation in similar conditions. Its delicate, yellow-green fronds and compact size make it a great addition to any plant collection, especially terrariums.
