Prosaptia intermedia is a species of fern belonging to the family Grammitidaceae. It was first described by Ching in 1950 and later reclassified by Tagawa in 1950. This species is native to China, specifically in regions such as Guangdong, Guangxi, Hainan, and Yunnan, as well as Vietnam.

• Growth Habit: Prosaptia intermedia is an epiphytic fern, meaning it grows on other plants, typically in shaded, humid environments.

• Fronds: The fern features pinnate fronds with finely divided leaflets, contributing to its delicate appearance.

• Habitat: It thrives in tropical forests, often found on tree trunks or branches, where it benefits from high humidity and indirect light.
