Aleuritopteris anceps, previously classified under Cheilanthes anceps, is a lithophytic fern native to tropical and subtropical Asia. Its distribution spans regions including Assam, Bangladesh, southern and eastern China, the Himalayas, India, Myanmar, Nepal, Sri Lanka, Thailand, and parts of Southeast Asia. This fern is commonly found growing on moss-covered rocks in shaded, humid environments.
